WCPA Members - $10 Non-members- $35 This comprehensive and most enlightening presentation will not only debunk common myths about Eating disorders but will discuss the prevalence and media influence on Eating Disorders in our culture. Participants will come to understand the various eating disorders, signs and symptoms and what to look out for in their practices. Understanding the etiology as well as the familial, biological, and social influences will be at the forefront of this presentation. Treatment options, strategies for healing and helping will be discussed as well. Learning Objectives: 1. Identify Eating Disorders in Clinical Practice as well as the impact the internet is having on the maintenance of an Eating Disorder. How does it present itself?
