This interactive session will define the core elements of self-compassion, gratitude, and mindfulness and discuss current research demonstrating their benefit to holistic health and wellness, particularly for people working in healthcare. It will include brief, experiential, and evidence-based exercises that can be integrated into daily activities to reduce burnout and boost resilience. Participants will develop a personal practice through building upon current resources and incorporating new skills, and will leave with clarity on how to apply these tools to enhance wellbeing.

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
• Identify the elements of self-compassion for healthcare communities
• List the benefits of mindfulness for healthcare communities
• Report the impact(s) of the "3 Good Things" gratitude practice, according to the research.
• Identify the functional areas of the brain affected by compassion training
• Identify one self-compassion practice that can support resilience and wellbeing.
